With the SMS Gateway set up and paired, it is time to send your first campaign. This lesson covers the complete workflow — creating a campaign, writing personalized SMS, sending, and monitoring delivery results in real time.

Creating an SMS Campaign

Navigate

Go to Email Marketing, then SMS Marketing, click New.

Subject

Internal campaign name (not sent to recipients) — e.g. Spring Sale 2026.

Recipients

Choose Mailing List or CRM Leads. Select your target audience.

Write the Message

Compose the SMS body. Keep it under 160 characters for single-segment delivery.

Personalization

Use dynamic placeholders to make each SMS personal. The system replaces them with actual contact data before sending.

Automatic Features

Link Conversion

URLs are automatically shortened to tracking links. Clicks are recorded with timestamp, location, and UTM data.

The system appends STOP to unsubscribe instructions. Replies are detected and numbers blacklisted automatically.

Gateway Assignment

A cron job assigns each SMS to an available phone using the least-loaded algorithm.

Sending and Monitoring

Send a test SMS to your own number to verify formatting and link tracking.

Click Send for immediate delivery or Schedule for a specific date and time.

You can pause a running campaign. Pending messages stay in the queue.
